Finished a customer repair of a P400e portable charger unit (EVSE), interestingly this unit has two temperature sensors in the BS1363 plug top to ensure both the Live and Neutral contacts are monitored. It took a bit of detective work to figure this out and get the unit working again. Customer had a damaged mains plug which had been removed and thrown away so no reference parts to work from. Once we got the unit functional again it was tested for electrical safety and charging function at full 10Amp output load. If you’ve got an EVSE that the connector has been driven over or its stopped working get in touch and see if we can get you charging again.
